Steam Trains
This is a steam engine train in Wyoming. Union Pacific Railroad's historic steam locomotive will travel up to 3,000 miles in 29 days and a 4 state tour. Very neat video! Steam Engine

Map I found that was interesting to the Hatfield and McCoy's. I also found it useful to look at the different regions of WV.

The sign on the WV and Kentucky line to tell a little about the Hatfield and McCoy Feud.
Devil"William" Anse Hatfield was a very successful timber business man here in the West Vrignina. This is a picture about of him in the 1800s. He was worked very hard to keep his timber rights for his company in the Hatfield lands.

HHS Campus Walk
Taking a walk on HHS campus today with my kids...if the rain holds out. Hopefully I can get some pictures and my students can identify some trees. Pictures to come later.

Day Field Trip
Had a great field day trip today. We identified trees, measured board feet, and did some water testing for Fourpole Creek. Pictures to come soon. Even though the weather was a little uncooperative...learned a lot and love being a teacher!

3 apps
The three apps that I found are:
Dictionary- This app will help you find the definition to anyword, thesaurus, etc..
Memo Pad- This app is a good one to hekp you take notes or judt remind you to do something. Grest for short memory loss.
West Virginia- This app is really neat. It has all kinds of facts about WV. Rick and I are finishing up our Coal Unit and I have found some really cool facts about coal.
